The high holy days are coming, and in the Jewish faith, the ten days in between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur are an opportunity for reflection, accountability, and reconciliation. Individuals are called to reflect on their actions with themselves, interpersonally, and their community, and ask for forgiveness for the harm, or possibilities for harm, that they perpetrated. It is customary that an individual has three opportunities to take accountability and ask for forgiveness. (Easier said than done, right?) So get ready to brew some Jewish theology!
