1953 Waco Tornado Remembrance Ceremony

Join the City of Waco on May 11 at 10 am for a 1953 Waco tornado wreath-laying remembrance ceremony at the tornado memorial site (4th Street and Austin Avenue), accompanied by the Waco Fire Department’s Honor Guard and Waco Police Department’s Honor Guard. Flowers will be available for the public to leave at the memorial site as tribute throughout the day.
