2023 Browning Day

Kevin A. Morrison, visiting scholar and professor of British Literature at Henan University, will present his lecture on Robert Browning’s 1855 poem, “The Guardian Angel: A Picture at Fano,” exploring how Browning “refined his sensory alertness to and perceptual engagement with historical materiality.” Conversation and a reception will follow the lecture.
