Hermès in the Heart of Texas: The Art of Kermit Oliver Opening Reception

In celebration of Kermit Oliver’s 80th birthday, Art Center Waco presents an exhibition of wearable art, the 30-year collaboration between Waco artist Oliver and French fashion house Hermès. Oliver, a Texas postal worker and artist, created sixteen silk scarf designs for Hermès, each one a vibrant and intricate depiction of American culture and history. Hermès in the Heart of Texas: The Art of Kermit Oliver will be on view at Art Center Waco from August 4 to October 14, 2023.
Suggested donation for the opening reception is $10. Drinks and light bites provided.
