Jason Bly: Artist Talk & Reception

Join artist Jason Bly as he discusses his work currently hung in the Martin Museum of Art. Bly employs a trompe l’oeil style to combine visual depictions of objects that are everyday, both nostalgic and futuristic at once. Through traditional glazing methods, up to 75 thin layers of color render his works in full detail, while flattening the canvas creating a new narrative for the viewer.
