Kermit Oliver Family Exhibit Day (afternoon)

Join Art Center Waco to learn more about the art of Kermit Oliver and Hermès in the Heart of Texas, his current exhibition, at 10 am and 1 pm.

Andrea La Valleur-Purvis, a local art advocate, sculptor, and art coach, will give a short gallery talk that will be accessible to all ages. Then, local painter, photographer, and sculptor Cade Kegerreis will lead a guided art activity, all based around the work of Kermit Oliver’s silk scarves. There will be two separate art activities: one for toddler-elementary school and a separate area for middle school and up. Parents can attend either group their child is taking part in.

$5 per child. Adults get in free.
