Presented by Baylor Opera Theatre at Jones Theatre in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center, Patience is the sixth of fourteen operatic collaborations between composer Arthur Sullivan and librettist W. S. Gilbert. Premiering on April 23, 1881, the operetta is a playful satire on fads, fashion, superficiality, vanity, pretentiousness, and romantic love.
