Sweetheart Parade & Family Movie Night

The Riesel Lions Club has its annual parade honoring the 2023–24 Riesel Lions Club Sweetheart. Line-up starts at 5:30 pm in the Riesel ISD parking lot, and the parade starts at 6:30 pm. Decorate a float, car, bike, or anything else, and come join in the parade or line East Frederick Street in Riesel to watch the parade and collect candy.

After the parade, the Riesel Lions Club will be hosting a free family movie night showing of Cars at the Lions Club Fairgrounds. (This will be held inside in the AC due to the extreme heat temperatures.) Pizza and snacks will be available for purchase.
