In his book The Promise of Paradox, Quaker author Parker Palmer asks what sometimes causes such arrogance in a religion that’s named for one who proclaimed the meek shall inherit the earth. Given this, it’s not unusual for people to look for light in the secular world, so for the next two weeks Waco Brew Theology discusses paradoxes in religion and the secular world to help find a more transcendent truth.
