Panentheists see God and the universe in an interrelated relationship: The universe is in God, and God is in the universe—both constantly and actively influencing one another. Panentheism is found in some Indigenous, Jewish, Muslim, and Orthodox Christian traditions as well as more recently in the work of open-relational theologians. Even in traditions where God is not the major focus, there is room to wrestle with how this interconnectedness impacts all of life and creation.
