The next Waco Newcomers and Neighbors luncheon is Wednesday, February 15. The buffet opens at 11:30 am in the 4th-floor Suite Lounge at The Baylor Club. The February speaker is McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara. He spent 32 years with the US Marshal’s Service. After hearing many of his uncle’s experiences, Taylor Sheridan wrote a screenplay that became the movie Hell or High Water, nominated for four Oscars and three Golden Globes.
Founded by Geri Aupperle-Shows in 1989, Waco Newcomers and Neighbors is a social club for all women who seek friendship and fun in Central Texas.
