Waco’s Harambee Revive

The North East Riverside Neighborhood Association is reviving a lost cultural tradition and celebration: the Waco Harambee Revive—”Harambee” is a Swahili term that means “let’s pull together”—on Friday, September 15, from 5 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, September 16, from 3 pm to 9 pm at Bridge Street Plaza in East Waco.

Harambee is a Kenyan tradition of community self-help events, fundraising, philanthropy, fun and educational activities, community outreach, and networking. Enjoy the creative, literary, and performing arts, exhibits, an array of vendors, shopping, dining, a kid zone, and social bonding activities for the whole family.
